Are 249 of you Really that Lazy?

I came up with the possibility of an idea for SCCM Ranger training and only 3 of you posted your opinions on the site poll out of 252 people. I have a lot to accomplish before I make this a reality, but let's put this on the table and I would like to request you take the poll and let me know if this is really something you want. There were some permission issues that I was not aware of for posting to polls, but I think they have been fixed.

Let's take this into some depth and see what comes out of it. I know others may jump on this before me, but if they do, it because they took my idea and you heard it here first.

I want to buy a house, not an office, and make it into a training facility. The house would be on the beach somewhere and in an intimate setting where 10 people a week could learn the most difficult aspects of SCCM. Maybe in Mexico, Florida, Aspen or the southern tip of Spain to have a training facility. We could share our days talking about procedure and the science of perfecting and understanding the technology. No, this is not a MOC class sponsored by Microsoft, but an instructor led training on hardcore SCCM procedures. We could have MVP's or even people as guest speakers at the house to make it more dynamic. Although I have not asked yet, why not have Wally or one or both of the Andersons come to speak about the things we don't know. We would be able to have the systems required to provide any lab environment.

We could have a chef prepare all our meals and live under the same roof for 5 days, no hotel cost or unneeded travel. Learning from each other... sharing our thoughts and visions under the stars at night by bond fire and drinks (if that suits you). So many times I go to a training facility and we learn the "textbook" way and each go back to our own hotels and never really learn more than the dumb book and CD would teach us on our own. I want to give an experience to the ones who want to be the best and the brightest and taught by the best and the brightest.

Sharing knowledge is one thing, being passionate and personal, making friends, and experiencing a week of hardcore SCCM information is what I want to provide you. I ask you again, vote on the poll and let me know if this is something you want. If not, I walk away and know that it's not something that the community wants. I really feel I have a vision on this and it's a potential we could all use.

I am an Exchange guy and don't touch SCCM, so while I think it is a great idea - I bypassed the poll! :) I am, however, about to dive in to SCMDM and will let you know how it goes.
