Verizon Wireless Technical Support
I just got off of the phone with Verizon Wireless technical support. I was braced for the worst, especially hearing the horror stories when trying to get technical information on Treos and different mobile offerings. Boy was I surprised! The gentleman that helped me was knowledgeable, friendly and got me turned around in a short amount of time. I had trouble getting their PC Card software, VZ Access, to work under the latest build of Windows Vista (February CTP 5308). As it turns out, the software works 95% under Windows Comparability mode with administrative privileges, but does not create the proper phone book entries to allow the card to dial out. The technician showed me how to manually create the DUN entries and it was all smooth sailing from there! Thanks Verizon!
