Microsoft's Skyscrapr

Ever wondered about those mysterious individuals known as Architects? In most enterprises they have secured high, if somewhat mysterious, positions. Microsoft has created a new community site to support Architects called Skyscrapr. There is even a hilarious video that explains what it is Architects do in a very fun and informative fashion (reminded me of School House Rock – I’m Just a Bill …). As someone who does Infrastructure Architecture I am always a little offended by the “plumber” analogy, but it does fit. Check it out.
