Please Give Us Full Text Feeds!

I love the ideas behind techedbloggers.net but as I sat down tonight to browse the 40+ entries I was severly frustrated by the partial feeds. The hotel broadband has issues enough as it is, and it was very slow going for the third of the posts where I wanted to read the entire post. Please consider switching to full-text feeds so we don’t have to browse to each individual post to read it … what good is an aggregator then?

Hi Chris,

Haven't seen you yet here!  We have to get together sometime.  I'll be in the Messaging TLC this evening, and every afternoon after today, so stop by and say 'hi'.

In response to your question about full text feeds, I agree with you; though, you have to know a little more about how the TechEdBloggers engine works...  Unless they've changed it recently, it's completely moderated - meaning that every post submitted is looked at by a human.  If it makes sense to be there, it's categorized manually, and a small-portion is made available on the feed.

It's one thing they consider a "value-add", because it helps people sift through the many hundreds of posts and only open the ones they really want to read, directly on the author's blog.

I know and have worked with the owner and builders of that site, and have been a part of the creation of TechNetEventsBloggers.net (hosted and run by the same people, in the same way).. and your feedback will definitely be passed to them.

...but I suppose since your blog is already a contributor, then they have already seen your comment.  :)

Cheers!  See you soon!
-Kevin

...and I see that in fact your post is already a part of the feed there... so now everybody knows how you feel. :)
