yea, I bet it won't work on my laptop like the previous build, but will give it a shot... How frustrating is that!??? Now, I don't expect that MSFT would make a list of systems it will work with, but I wonder what makes it not work on some systems. I figure RAM and video drivers would be the most common reasons why it would not work. My laptop has 2 GB of RAM and a 128 MB video card that works perfectly crystal clear in XP Media Center. Strange.... My laptop gets back from being repaired at HP today, so might download the new version and give it a shot.

Thanks for the heads up Chris!

Brian - I have run Vista on some pretty slow laptops with basic video and RAM. I am not sure why it doesn't like your HP ... this new version is smoking fast and much much more polished than the previous ones.

HEH! My laptop was having issues and just got back today. Since Vista had not worked on Monday with a fresh install, I reloaded XP. When it came back today, I did an upgrade rather than a fresh install and it works GREAT.  HEHEHEHHE... based on the slower HD I have, I have a Vista performance rating of 3, but everything else looks good. Let me (us) know if the new version released has better functionality.. I want to run this for a few weeks and see all the changes.
