An interesting fact is that Microsoft used to be very heavy users of vmware products before they invested in their own virtualisation solutions. I have to say looking through the entire product suite that Vmware offer, Mirosoft's offerings fall very short. But with some time and investment, I think they could produce a very competitive product(s) to the vmware range.

One said it allows him to load up more virt servers and also speeds everything up. The "borrowing memory across the network" sounds like a bunch of BS...maybe not though, who knows? I'd think a swap file on a hard drive would have better performance than RAM across the network even if it functioned.

And I think I read something recently about Fujitsu coming out with 32-64GB chips that they could put on the motherboards to do the same thing the new flash drive technique does. A lot faster bus too. :)

re: Any Joe Satriani Fans Out There?

Hey guys.
