The SMS 2003 Tools will give you greater access to your resources in SMS 2003. Simply rename the .doc file to .reg and you have a bunch of new options when you right click a resource in the SMS console. Once the registry has been modified, right click on any resource in a collection and you will see a new tree called "SMS Tools". You will now have the ability to run extra functions. Make sure to install the SMS Toolkit 2 to the default location to have access to those as well. Also, the link below shows which line to edit to enter the reporting point. I have yet to see this cause any issues on a server or workstation. If you have questions on how to edit or make tools of your own, check out the link below.
