for not replying sooner. Let me take a minute to explain the folder
structure. The “Homes” folder is shared and has full permissions
for everyone. The way I have the GPO set is to redirect the contents
of each user's Documents folder into /Homes/%username%/Documents
(This directory is created when the user logs on for the first time).
So when their Documents is redirected, a folder is created in Homes
that is named after the user name. Everyone has full control over
this folder as well. However, when the “Documents” folder is
created, only the user can do anything with and inside this folder
since the Documents folder does not inherit permissions from the
username folder. Thus everyone else is locked out. Again, all of this
is done automatically when folder redirection is applied. So, I
believe the ACL is set correctly (since everyone has full control in
Homes). I just don't understand why a user name folder is not created
after recreating a user with the same name as a previously deleted
user. It's somewhat confusing to explain. I hope I was clear, thanks again!
