In this Blogcast we look at how simple it is to install a new operating system. This video shows how to install Windows Vista from scratch. Many people will decide it's easier to upgrade rather than do a fresh installation. If your upgrade fails, chances are that you will have to install Vista as shown in this video.

Verify your computer can run Vista. The older your computer is, chances are that it may not meet the requirements. If you don't have at LEAST 16 GB of FREE space on your hard drive, don't even bother trying to install or upgrade Vista. I thought I was obtaining geniuine copies of Vista but in fact only backups that can only be used on the Acer PC.
