  • All Systems Not Appearing In Collection

I setup SMS just as the video said to. When i go to All Systems under collections i only see the two servers used and 2 out of the 10 workstations only show. I am not sure why only two show up because all of the work stations are in the same OU in active directory. Also the when pushing the client to...

  • Re: Problems with single domain, single subnet SMS install

Make sure to send me a slip that I donated my time in the amout of 1 billion dollars! Sounds like you have a few issues and I think we can help you out. First, get aquainted with the log files on your SMS server. Under the SMS folder where you installed SMS, look for the logs folder. Each log is linked...

  • Re: Why...oh why.....

The padlocks you are talking about cannot be removed. The padlock means that SMS has simply discovered a subnet, nothing more. In Client push, do you have the checkmark box checked to do client push? I would uncheck it.... If checked, SMS will push out the client by itself. If unchecked, the only way...

  • Re: Advanced Clients are not showing in the console

Micky - Thanks and welcome to the site. It's good that the clients are showing as assigned. That tells us that your boundaries are setup correctly. So, why do the clients not show as clients? First, are you sure that they are clients? Maybe a few, but how many would you expect to be a client? Know what...

  • Re: The Operating System Reported Error 5. Access is Denied.

Error 5 = Access Denied. Make sure you Network Access Account has an account as well as the account tab on Client Push. Client push account is your problem here. When you push to that client, just after you click finish in the CP wizard, look at the ccm.log file on the server. It will show you the account...
