Clients that only have 2 actions tell me that the MP is having issues. I would start there by reviewing the mpcontrol.log on the server. Since you do not have Active Directory, you must be either directly installing the client or using Network Discovery. Since your systems are "showing" as workgroup...

Hello All. I have Googled this problem and i'm coming to the end of the line! I have 3 SMS 2003 SP2 sites. We'll call them A , B and C . Did u check which site its showing for the managment point in the general tab of SMS advance client? I think it must be showing old sms server.... can you use following script on one of the machine to change the management point of SMS advance client if it succesful then u can go for all ? Sounds like your MP is failing. Start with the MP troubleshooter and see what that shows. Also. check the status of the MP Control component in the console. Should have some errors in it.
